Special Events

Every year, LUCAP sponsors several special events to foster an understanding of social justice and build community. It participates in Wolves on the Prowl, Literacy Week, and Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. In the fall, Students Seeking Solidarity makes trip to protest the SOA/WHISC, and in the spring, Environmental Action Holds its annual Gaia Fest. Throughout the year, LUCAP sponsors speakers and workshops in an effort to connect our volunteers' experiences with those belonging to others. LUCAP also contributes to fundraisers when needs arise.
